About Us
Ekaterina Yankelevich, D.D.S.
Dr. Ekaterina (Katya) Yankelevich received her undergraduate degree at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Yankelevich studied molecular genetics and was involved in research. She maintained a 4.0 GPA and graduated summa cum laude from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996.
That same year she was accepted to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. degree in June, 2000. After dental school, Dr. Yankelevich continued her dental education and gained more experience in the General Practice Residency at OSU treating medically and physically compromised patients. She also completed experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, anesthesiology and general medicine. In 2001, Dr. Yankelevich joined a private practice in Columbus, Ohio. In 2006, she started her own practice in Columbus' beautiful German Village. And in April 2009 she has moved her practice to a new facility in Short North/Victorian Village. Dr. Katya takes numerous continuing education courses every year. She is constantly learning new techniques, proceedures and materials to bring the best dentistry available in the world to her patients.
Gail Still, RDH
This July marked twenty-five years in the hygiene field for Gail Lynn Still. A native of Wooster, OH, Gail received her B.S. in education from The Ohio State University in 1985, where she also graduated from the dental hygiene program at the OSU dental school. In1996, Gail joined the staff at Village DentalCare. Gail’s spare time is spent working out, hanging out with friends (usually at El Vaquero) and riding horses, though she doesn’t own one at this time. Gail has also been a violinist since she was nine and even played for two years in the Wooster Symphony. Gail resides in Galloway.
Chuck Usher, RDH, LMT
Chuck Usher, brings over thirty-five years of experience to Village DentalCare. In 1970, he began as a dental tech in the US Navy then earned his associates in dental hygiene in 1978. He also has a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Chuck is a hiking enthusiast, enjoys travel, weight training and yoga, and teaches Thai Yoga Massage throughout the state of Ohio. He resides in historic Harrison Park.
Stacey O'Neil, Dental assistant
Stacey brings 19 years of experience in dental assisting to Village DentalCare. Her passion for dentistry, meticulous nature, attention to detail and cheerful personality make her a great asset to our practice. Stacey lives in Gahanna and her 2-year old yorkipoo Bella is the light of her life. When not in the office Stacey enjoys working out and spending time with her family and friends. Stacey has a daughter Marisa who is keeping her busy planning upcoming wedding in the summer 2011.
Terri Martin, Practice Administrator
Terri Martin joined Village DentalCare in October 2008. She began her career in dental administration in early 2000 with over ten years of experience in the medical field. Terri lives in Grandview, with her two dogs, Charlie and Tucker. When she is not negotiating insurance contracts, or busy writing appeals, she can be found enjoying time with her family and friends, and challenging anyone to a heated game of scrabble.
