Positions include:

Chairside assistant:

Under supervision of a dentist, provides chairside dental support to the doctor and the dental hygientists.  Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and materials, and escorts patients to the treatment rooms.  The chairside assists, as directed by the dentist, during the delivery of dental procedures.  Sterilizes and wraps instruments and is responsible for asepsis between patients.  Exposes and develops dental radiographs for dental diagnostic purposes.

Hygiene position:

To provide dental hygiene services with the doctor in the delivery of remarkable dental care to patients.  In addition uses knowledge and clinical skills to provide excellent dental care to patients and uses interpersonal skills to motivate and instruct patients on methods to prevent oral disease and maintain oral health.  The hygienist plays an integral role on the treatment planning team during patient recare visits.  An additional purpose is to develop, organize, implement and oversee the soft tissue management program.
